Rules to allow industry accreditation

Who is INDUSTRY ACCREDITATION granted to and what entitlements does it provide?

This type of accreditation is granted to representatives of film industry such as producers, distributors, to representatives of film institutions, film events and other individuals who are professionally involved in film industry in Poland or abroad.

Industry accreditation entitles its holder to:

  • enter film screenings held in the Festival Centre in the Musical Theatre (prior online seat reservations required),
  • enter film screenings held in cinema Helios (Riviera Shopping Center); Consulate of Culture; City Theatre Gdynia; Chamber and New Stage of Musical Theatre; The Museum of the Polish Navy (prior online seat reservations required),
  • receive a Festival’s packet containing the Festival catalogue and other marketing materials,
  • participate in the Festival accompanying events, with the exception of closed events with personal invitations required for participation,
  • enter press conferences (according to availability)

How does accreditation differ from a pass?

Depending on accreditation type, accreditation holder has considerably more privileges and entitlements than a pass holder. The main difference is that an accredited individual can participate in film screenings for audience, both in cinema Helios (Riviera Shopping Center); Consulate of Culture; City Theatre Gdynia; Large, Chamber and New Stage of Musical Theatre; The Museum of the Polish Navy (where prior online seat reservations are required). Moreover, accreditation entitles its holder to participate in the Festival accompanying events (with the exception of closed events with separate invitations required for participation). Accreditation has 34 points to use on screenings – a pass has 20. Also, accreditation user can participate in press conferences (according to availability)

A pass holder can participate exclusively in film screenings held in cinema Helios (Riviera Shopping Center); Consulate of Culture; City Theatre Gdynia; Large, Chamber and New Stage of Musical Theatre; The Museum of the Polish Navy prior to which the holder is required to make online seat reservations.

Can an industry accreditation holder participate in the Festival Opening and Closing Ceremonies?

No accreditation type entitles its holder to participate in the Festival Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Separate invitations are required for participation in these events.
